October 8–11, 2026, in the mountains of Trenton, Georgia, about thirty minutes from Chattanooga, Tennessee. The exact location is shared with guests after they reserve, keeping the setting private for our small group.

Adults (18+) who are overdue for genuine rest and want it without roughing it — busy professionals, couples, and solo travelers who value privacy, craft, and a small circle over a crowded itinerary. With only twelve spaces, it suits people who prefer intimate, considered experiences.

A typical vacation leaves you to plan, navigate, and manage everything yourself. Soul of the Valley handles all of it — accommodations, every meal, and a guided four-day arc of tea mindfulness, tai chi, reiki, and sound therapy — so your only job is to arrive and let go. It's structured for restoration, not sightseeing.

No. Every session is an invitation, not an obligation. Many guests do everything; others choose to rest, read, or simply take in the valley. The retreat is designed to restore you — and that includes the freedom to opt out of anything that doesn't serve you.

Gently. Tai chi is low-impact and suitable for most fitness levels, and the rest of the programming is restorative rather than strenuous. If you have specific health concerns, we recommend consulting your physician and letting us know in advance so we can support you.

The retreat is $4,200 per guest, which includes accommodations, all meals, and every guided session. You can reserve through the Reserve link on this site or by emailing felicia.baxter@fora.travel with the subject line "Soul of the Valley Retreat" and the names and ages of your travelers.
