A retreat is only as good as the people leading it. Soul of the Valley brings together experienced, genuinely warm practitioners — each chosen not just for their skill, but for their ability to make a small group feel safe enough to truly let go.

Jami Lowery

Adaptive Tai Chi International

Qigong aligns with Chinese medicine channels and meridians and the movements move qi along various meridians associated with certain areas of the body. It is easy to follow.

Loren "Lo" Clifford

Reiki & Sound Therapy

Guides Saturday's restorative energy work and sound healing. Lo creates the conditions for deep release, helping the body find its way back to ease through reiki and immersive sound.

EWT Catering

Culinary

Crafts the wood-fired welcome table and every meal across the retreat, from tableside trout to the farewell spread — sourcing locally and cooking with intention.

About Your Guides

Sessions are led by experienced, vetted practitioners: Jami Lowery of Adaptive Tai Chi International leads tai chi and qigong, Loren "Lo" Clifford leads reiki and sound therapy, and EWT Catering handles all culinary. Each guide is responsible for their portion of the retreat so guests can fully relax.

Not at all. Every session is beginner-friendly and the guides meet you where you are. Whether you've practiced mindfulness for years or have never tried tai chi, you'll be supported throughout.

Reiki is a gentle, hands-on (or hands-near) energy practice intended to promote relaxation and release tension. Sound therapy uses instruments like singing bowls to create immersive tones that calm the nervous system. Both are restorative, non-strenuous, and suitable for all guests.

Yes — the small group size means the guides are accessible and able to give personal attention. You're encouraged to ask questions and adapt any practice to what feels right for you.

Be guided. Be restored.
